Drivers Cited During Santa Maria DUI Checkpoint But No Arrests

7 VEHICLES ARE TOWED AFTER A D-U-I- CHECKPOINT IN SANTA MARIA OVER THE WEEKEND.. POLICE SCREENED 371 VEHICLES ON SATURDAY NIGHT IN THE 13 HUNDRED BLOCK OF SOUTH BROADWAY... TWO DRIVERS WERE EVALUATED FOR D-U-I- BUT NONE WERE ARRESTED.. EIGHT DRIVERS WERE CITED FOR BEING UNLICENCED WHILE ANOTHER WAS SUSPENDED FOR DRIVING ON A SUSPENDED LICENSE... OF THE 7 VEHICLES THAT WERE IMPOUNDED, 6 WERE DRIVEN BY UNDOCUMENTED IMMIGRANTS..
