IT'S ALMOST TIME FOR THE SANTA MARIA VALLEY STRAWBERRY FESTIVAL.. JOE BRENGLE WITH THE FAIRPARK TELLS THE " INFORMATION STATION " THAT THE EVENT IS TAKING PLACE APRIL 23RD THROUGH THE 25TH AND THERE SHOULD BE PLENTY OF STRAWBERRIES BY THEN.. BRENGLE ALSO SAYS THAT SOME ENTERTAINMENT HAS ALREADY BEEN BOOKED FOR THIS YEARS SANTA BARBARA COUNTY FAIR TAKING PLACE THIS SUMMER.. GRAND FUNK RAILROAD WILL PERFORM ON OPENING NIGHT FOLLOWED BY " WAR " ON THURSDAY AND " THE BEACH BOYS " ON SATURDAY.. THE FAIR IS STILL WORKING ON BOOKING A COUNTRY ACT FOR THE FAIR WHICH IS TAKING PLACE JULY 14TH THROUGH THE 18TH..
