A SANTA MARIA TEEN HAS BEEN SENTENCED TO 15 YEARS TO LIFE FOR KILLING A 9 MONTH OLD BABY OVER A YEAR AGO.. 18 YEAR OLD TODD HAXTON WAS SENTENCED ON THURSDAY BY SUPERIOR COURT JUDGE ED BULLARD AFTER HE FIRST TRIED TO WITHDRAW HIS NO CONTEST PLEA TO THE SECOND DEGREE MURDER OF VICTOR DELFIN JUNIOR, BUT WAS NOT ABLE TO.. HAXTON WAS ACCUSED OF SHAKING AND DROPPING THE CHILD IN DECEMBER OF 2008 AT A HOME IN SANTA MARIA AFTER POLICE SAY HE MAY HAVE BECOME AGITATED OVER THE CHILD'S CONSTANT CRYING.. ALTHOUGH HAXTON WAS BELIEVED TO BE THE LIVE-IN BOYFRIEND OF THE CHILD'S MOTHER ROXEANNE RODRIQUEZ--- AGE 20 AT THE TIME, HER FAMILY HAS DISPUTED THAT CLAIM..
