No Contest Plea Entered by Three Men Charged with Robbing Cal Poly Students

THREE MEN HAVE ENTERED NO CONTEST PLEAS FOLLOWING THEIR ARREST FOR ROBBING TWO CAL POLY STUDENTS EARLIER THIS YEAR.. 23 YEAR OLD STEVEN MEDINA FROM ARROYO GRANDE AND TWO MEN FROM TULARE-- 22 YEAR OLD ISAAC PERALTA AND 23 YEAR OLD ALEJANDRO AMBRIZ COULD FACE UP TO A YEAR IN JAIL IN CONNECTION WITH THE INCIDENTS ON JANUARY 16TH AFTER POLICE SAY THEY COMMITTED TWO STRONG ARM ROBBERIES WITHIN ONE HALF HOUR OF ONE ANOTHER.. EACH OF THE MEN STATED IN COURT THAT THEY UNDERSTOOD THE CONSEQUENCES OF THEIR PLEAS.. NONE OF THE MEN HAD A PRIOR CRIMINAL RECORD.. THE TRIO WIL BE SENTENCED BY JUDGE MICHAEL DUFFY ON APRIL 27TH..
