Victim in Flash Fire at Goleta Home Last Month Dies

A MAN WHO SUFFERED SEVERE BURNS IN A FLASH FIRE AT A GOLETA HOME LAST MONTH HAS DIED FROM HIS INJURIES. THE SANTA MARIA TIMES REPORTS THAT 30-YEAR-OLD PRIMITIVO HERNANDEZ-LOPEZ FROM OXNARD SUFFERED SECOND AND THIRD DEGREE BURNS OVER MOST OF HIS BODY ON AUGUST 30TH WHILE HE WAS REMOVING FLOORING IN A SMALL UTILITY ROOM ADJACENT TO THE HOME'S GARAGE. THE MAN DIED AT GROSSMAN BURN CENTER IN LOS ANGELES THE FOLLOWING DAY. THE CAUSE OF THE FIRE REMAINS UNDER INVESTIGATION.
