Identification Made on Body Found Along Gaviota Shoreline this Past Weekend

Identification has been made on a body found along the Gaviota shoreline by three fishermen this past weekend. The victim was identified as 29 year old Jeffrey Nancarrow from the Santa Barbara area. He was last seen on May 23rd, and Santa Barbara Police made a missing persons report two days later. His body was discovered on Saturday in an area known as Poison Oak Point. The cause and manner of death have not been determined and a final report is expected to take several weeks. Officials with the Sheriff's Office said the death did not appear to be suspicious.
