Lompoc Police Report Four Arrests Following DUI and Driver’s License Checkpoint on Friday Night

Lompoc Police made four arrests during a DUI and driver's license checkpoint in the 600 block of East Central Avenue for eastbound traffic on Friday night. Officers screened approximately 675 vehicles and ten drivers were evaluated for DUI, while another was screened for being under the influence of drugs. One was arrested for drivign on a suspended license, having three warrants for her arrest and possessing drug paraphernalia. Two drivers were found to be unlicensed and another driver was arrested for having narcotics paraphernalia. One vehicle was impounded at the checkpoint.
