Business Owner Where Woman Found Murdered in Lompoc Worked Speaks Out; Suspect Reported to be Former Boyfriend
We are learning more about a woman who was stabbed to death in Lompoc over the weekend, and the suspect is reported to be a former boyfriend. 30 year old Selina Lopez Bustos was found dead in a residence in the 1000 block of Sixth Street on Saturday morning and the authorities are looking for 23 year old Eduardo Robles.
Roger Bales, who along with his wife Linda own Acceptance Insurance Services, where Selina worked, tells KCOY CBS 12 and the Information Station that she had started working there during her senior year in high school. and had been with them for 13 years.
Lompoc Police Sgt. Chuck Strange says the search for Robles is continuing.
Robles has relatives as far south as San Diego, and there was some information given that indicates he may have fled to Mexico. Although it was initially reported that Robles was Bustos' boyfriend, there is some information that she broke up with him just a few weeks ago.
