Two Men Sought after Attempted Armed Robbery in Paso Robles

Paso Robles Police are looking for two men in connection with an attempted armed robbery at the Holiday Inn Express in the 2400 block of Riverside Avenue. It happened just before 2:00 am on Tuesday when the suspects, one armed with a handgun and the other with a shotgun, walked into the lobby wearing masks, gloves and hooded sweatshirts. One of the suspects took a hotel guest back to his room to get his valuables while the other suspect jumped over the front counter looking for the clerk. For an unknown reason, the suspects fled the scene on foot without taking anything. No injuries were reported.
