The Santa Barbara County Health Department has set up a hotline number for people who have experienced food poison-like symptoms after visiting the Alisal Guest Ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley. More than a dozen guests, visitors and employees of the ranch have reported getting sick since June 23rd and although not yet confirmed, county officials believe that the virus could be the contagious stomach ailment known as "Norovirus," often found on cruise ships. Symptoms can include nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, and it can last several days or even longer. The hotline number is (805) 346-8473.
