8 Year Old Who Drowned in Santa Ynez Valley Identified
The 8 year old boy who drowned at a popular swimming hole near the Live Oak day use area in the Santa Ynez Valley on the Fourth of July has been identified. Edwin Jijada was attending a family event when he went into the water and had not been seen for about 20 minutes. The water was described as fifteen to twenty feet deep with near zero visibility.
