Santa Barbara Man Charged with Raping Three Unconscious Women, Possibly Others
A Santa Barbara man has been charged with raping three unconscious women who told investigators they met him at bars or parties. 30 year old Jerry Bonhomme was arrested July 3rd and is accused of rape by use of drugs, assault and other sex, drug and burglary charges. Santa Barbara Police Detective Larson tells KCOY CBS 12 and the Information Station that two other women have come forward saying Bonhomme raped them under similar circumstances.
bonhomme was on felony probation for a drug conviction when he was arrested last week. Police are not ruling out that Bonhomme used date rape drugs in the assaults and whether other women could have been victims. Bonhomme remains behind bars pending a July 19th court appearance.
