Construction on City of Goleta Roundabout Expected to Begin Next Week
Construction on the City of Goleta's first roundabout is expected to begin next week at the intersection of Los Carneros and Calle Real. Installation of temporary construction signs and equipment staging begins today and the project should take three to four months to complete. The three leg intersection currently has stop signs in all directions. The City of Goleta says it is important for the roundabout project to be completed now because of upcoming work on the Las Vegas/San Pedro Creek culvert replacement which will impact Fairview Avenue starting next year.
