Arroyo Grande Police Continue to Investigate Bomb Threat that Led to Evacuation of WalMart Store
Police continue investigating a bomb threat made at the Arroyo Grande WalMart store. On Monday just after 9:00 pm, an unknown male called the store and said that there was a bomb inside before hanging up. Employees evacuated customers from the store and police and the Five Cities Fire Authority responded while a request was made with California State Parks for bomb sniffing canines, which arrived just after midnight. The store was searched, however no explosives were found. Arroyo Grande Police have contacted AT&T's Law Enforcement Asisstance Division, which was able to provide a possible service provider and a number for the cell phone used by the suspect at the time the call was made.
