Single Vehicle Crash near Templeton Leaves One Man Dead
One man is dead after a single vehicle crash in San Luis Obispo County near Templeton. The California Highway Patrol says it happened just after 2:30 am Wednesday when the driver of a Toyota Camry, a 22 year old man from Paso Robles was traveling on South El Pomar Road west of Rancho Road at an unknown rate of speed. The driver lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and crashed into a large tree, which left the driver with fatal injuries. No one else was in the vehicle. the man's name was not immediately released. The CHP says alcohol is believed to be a contributing factor in this crash.
