Intoxicated Driver Crashes into Greyhound Bus While Going the Wrong Way on Highway 101 in Atascadero

An intoxicated driver going the wrong way on Highway 101 crashed into a Greyhound bus in Atascadero. It happened just after 3:00 am today on southbound 101 between the Traffic Way and San Anselmo exits. The 22 year old driver crashed into the bus which left him with a broken arm and some passengers on the Greyhound, which was traveling from Salinas to Los Angeles, with minor injuries. Vans from the Atascadero State Hospital were used to take the Greyhound passengers to a local Denny's restaurant until another bus arrived from San Francisco.
