Child Care Center Closed Due to Report of Abuse

image

Accusations of child abuse inside a Los Osos day care center has lead to its closure. That comes in the middle of a SLO County District Attorney's Office investigation into a claim against the Los Osos Early Day Care and Education Center, which leases property from the former Sunnyside School in Los Osos from the San Luis Coastal School District. The center was closed down today following a report of abuse from Early Day's Director to the District Attorney's Office last month. No word on when the center will reopen. Neighbors are saddened by the closing, saying they enjoyed seeing the happy faces on the kids at the day care center. There is no word on the nature of the abuse accusation. Childring at the Early Day Care and Education Center range from 6 weeks old to 6th grade.
