California Highway Patrol Investigating Crash Involving Truck and Cyclist in Avila Beach.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating a collision between a truck and a male bicyclist early Monday evening in Avila Beach, which sent the cyclist to the hospital with a broken wrist. THE CHP tells the Information Station that it happened around 6:30 pm near the intersection of Avila Beach Drive and San Luis Street. There is no word if the truck driver was injured. If you have any information regarding the crash, please contact the CHP or Pismo Beach Police.
