7 to 8 Car Pile Up in San Luis Obispo on Highway 101

The California Highway Patrol says there was a major car pile up on Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo that backed traffic up for hours.
Up to eight cars were involved on northbound Highway 101 just past Monterey Street a little after 5:00 pm. The crash caused a major traffic delay for nearly two hours. No word yet on what caused the crash or if there are any injuries.
