Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors Decided Not to Impose Beach Parking Fee

The Santa Barbara County Board of Supervisors voted unanimously on Tuesday not to impose parking fees at 7 County beaches. The idea was being considered to help bring in more revenue for beach operations and maintenance and would have affected North County beaches including Ocean Beach Park and the Guadalupe Dunes. After taking public comment, the County Park Commission had recommended against the idea.
