Cal Poly Voter Registration Drive Underway Following Fraud Investigation Back in May

image

An effort to get people registered to vote for the November election continues, including at Cal Poly.
Back in May, a fraud investigation was conducted by the Secretary of State's Office because of voter registration cards that were turned in late. Cal Poly's ASI student government is aware of what happened. Katie Brennan tells KCOY CBS 12 and the Information Station that they are doing everything they can to make sure it doesn't happen again.
Those helping with the registration drive are unpaid volunteers and are trained by the County Clerk's Office.
The registration drive at Cal Poly is going on from 11:00 am-2:00 pm daily through the voter registration deadline, which is Monday, October 22nd.
