No Injuries Reported after Man Fires Gunshot at Isla Vista Apartment Building
A man fired a gunshot at an apartment building in Isla Vista over the weekend. Sheriff's Deputies were called to the 6500 block of Sabado Tarde Road early Sunday morning and learned from multiple witnesses that a man walking down the street became involved in a verbal argument with residents near an apartment building before the suspect brandished a semi-automatic handgun and fired one shot toward the building. An expended shell casing was recovered but no injuries were reported. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, 19 to 22 years of age and wearing an Oakland Raiders hat and a grey UCSB sweatshirt. If you have any information, call the Sheriff's Office at 681-4100.
