Fires in San Luis Obispo County
Cal Fire crews responded to a couple of incidents in San Luis Obispo County that were quite visible on the Central Coast today. One involved a structure reported to be a barn and a vehicle that caught fire in the Huasna area. This happened just before 1:30 pm near Branch Mill Road. Some vegetation also caught fire. 25 personnel responded and there were no injuries.
A vegetation fire burned 2 to 3 acres along southbound Highway 101 across from the Laeticia Vineyard near Arroyo Grande. The fire was reported around noontime today and 50 fire personnel responded. The fire was contained just before 2:00 pm. No injuries were reported and the cause of both fires remain under investigation.
