Lookout Fire Leads to Evacuation of Not Only People but Horses

The Lookout Fire caused some concern for horse owners in Santa Barbara County. Volunteers helped rescue horses belonging to those people that had to to evacuate their homes. The fire forced the evacuation of at least 15 horses to the Earl Warren Showgrounds in Santa Barbara. Not only were horses were rescued. Volunteers were taking in any large animal that could not fit into a car.
