Report of Student with a Gun Triggers Lockdown at Morro Bay High School
The report of a student off campus with a gun triggered a lockdown at Morro Bay High School. This happened around 1:30 pm when the principal says he received a credible call that a student was in possession of a weapon. Local police were contacted and were able to stop the minor in question and it was determined that he did not have a gun. The lockdown lasted until 2:00 pm with students and teachers kept in their classrooms.
