Paso Robles Murder Defendant Will Have to Testify in Order to Withdraw to No Contest Plea
A man who wants to withdraw his guilty plea in a Paso Robles murder case will have to testify first. That is what a judge decided in the case of 33 year old Alfonso "Pancho" Fierros. Hea pleaded no constest to the meth-fueled murder of 55 year old Robert Uyeno at the Farmhouse Motel, which occured in August of last year. Fierros has not explained why he wants to withdraw his plea. He would have to take the stand when his hearing continues on November 29th. Fierros was one of four people charged in the case. Two women were sentenced to prison time while another man was declared incompetent to stand trial.
