Suspect Identified in Isla Vista Stabbings
The Santa Barbara County Sheriff's Department has identified a suspect in the stabbing of two people in Isla Vista earlier this month. it happened on October 7th in the 6600 block of Abrego Road during a fight. Beside the two stabbing victims, three other were also treated for non life threatening injuries. Authorities are now looking for 22 year old Quiana Edwards, a documented Ventura Avenue gang member who has an active warrant out for her immediate arrest. She is wanted for assault with a deadly weapon and a criminal gang enhancement. Anyone with information on Edwards' whereabouts is asked to call the Sheriff's Department tipline at 681-4171.
