Attempted Kidnapping Under Investigation in Isla Vista
Authorities are investigating an attempted kidnapping in Isla Vista. A woman reported that just after 10:30 pm on Sunday, she was walking on Embarcadero del Mar when a man grabbed her and pulled her into a dark colored sedan. She was able to get away and reported the incident to the Sheriff's Department. The suspect was described as a Hispanic male, about 40 years of age with a wide nose.
